The 2.5kW Comfort Range is Fujitsu’s most popular bedroom unit, and for most Brisbane bedrooms, studies and home offices up to about 25 square metres it is exactly the right size. It cools quickly after a hot day, then settles into low-speed inverter operation that holds your set temperature without the temperature swings and compressor noise of an older fixed-speed system.

Why size matters more than brand

A correctly sized 2.5kW unit will keep a bedroom comfortable at 24 to 25 degrees all night while pulling humidity out of the air. An oversized unit cools the air quickly then stops, leaving the room cold and damp. If your room exceeds 25m2, has a raked ceiling or a large west-facing window, move up to the 3.4kW model instead.
