When a 5.0kW head is not quite enough, the 6.0kW Comfort Range is the sensible next step. It suits large open-plan living zones, big family rooms and light commercial spaces of roughly 50 to 60 square metres, including high-ceilinged Queenslander living rooms and upper-level townhouse living areas that carry roof heat load.

Installation quality determines performance

At this capacity the difference between a good and a poor installation is obvious in the power bill. Pipe run length, correct refrigerant charge, indoor unit height, return air clearance and unobstructed outdoor airflow all affect output. We size from an actual heat load assessment, not a rule of thumb, and position the indoor head so air reaches the far end of the room.
